The following terms and conditions represent the basis upon which Zell Driving School offers driving lessons and related services to you.

By booking lessons or training with Zell Driving School, you agree to follow these terms. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, fair, and professional learning environment for all learners.

All instruction is provided in line with DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) guidelines.

1. General Conduct

Your instructor will always be polite, patient, and professional.

Lessons are delivered in a calm and respectful manner
Instructors will not tolerate abusive or unsafe behaviour
Physical contact will only be used if necessary for safety
No smoking or use of mobile phones during lessons
The vehicle will be clean, safe, and fully insured

2. Zero Tolerance Policy

Zell Driving School has a strict zero-tolerance policy for:

Aggressive behaviour
Verbal abuse
Dangerous driving actions

If this occurs, the lesson may be stopped immediately and no refund will be given.

3. Driving Licence & Eligibility

Before starting lessons, you must:

Hold a valid UK driving licence (provisional or full)
Meet legal DVLA eyesight requirements
Inform your instructor of any medical conditions that may affect driving
Bring your licence to your first lesson

Failure to meet these requirements may result in lesson cancellation.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

All personal information you provide will be:

Kept confidential
Used only for lesson booking and communication
Never shared with third parties without your consent

5. Payments

All lessons must be paid in advance
Payments can be made via bank transfer or approved methods
Block bookings must be used within a reasonable timeframe

Zell Driving School reserves the right to adjust pricing if required.

6. Cancellations & Refunds
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel a lesson
Late cancellations may result in full lesson charges
Missed lessons without notice are non-refundable

Refunds may be considered only in special circumstances.

7. Driving Test Bookings
Students are responsible for booking their own driving test
Test details must be shared with your instructor in advance
Zell Driving School cannot guarantee test availability

If a test is cancelled by DVSA, lessons may be rearranged.

8. Test Day Lessons
Test day bookings include the use of the instructor’s car
You must be at a safe driving standard before using the car for the test
The instructor has the right to refuse car use if safety is a concern

9. Special Offers & Block Bookings
Block bookings must be paid in full
Lessons must be used within the agreed period
Unused lessons may not be refunded

10. Punctuality
Be ready at your agreed pickup time
Instructors may wait up to 10–15 minutes
Lost time may not be added to the lesson

11. Driving Under the Influence

Lessons will be cancelled immediately if you are suspected to be under the influence of:

Alcohol
Drugs
Any substance affecting driving ability

No refund will be given in such cases.

12. Safety & Responsibility
The instructor is responsible for safety during lessons
You must follow all instructions given
Lessons may be stopped if conditions are unsafe

13. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any service:

Contact Zell Driving School directly
We will aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly

14. Changes to Terms

Zell Driving School may update these terms when necessary.
All updates will be communicated clearly.

15. Regardless of which offer is used for automatic driving lessons a charge of £120 will apply on the test day which includes a 50-minute automatic driving lesson before the actual test.
